Fire Protection
We produce fire barriers.
Nature imposes limits upon people, but with our products we can set up barriers against fire as a force of nature.
We concentrate on three fields of application:
- reduction of combustibility of materials
- isolation of the source of fire to a limited area
- extend the function of electrical wiring

Mode of function:
The above mentioned products belong to the category of organic insulation layer forming materials. In case of a fire or due to the development of heat a heat insulating foam cover will develop. Those foam covers will extend to approximately sixty times of its original volume. This reaction is endotherm, meaning to develop the foam a large amount of energy is used up protecting the covered surface from overheating. At the same time alkaline reacting fission products will be released which neutralize sour fumes, i.e. chlorine hydrogene gas.
